Hey guys,
Gold by Britt Nicole means a lot to me because it’s the first song I ever performed in public solo (also the last :)). I sung it in 4th grade when I was auditioning for a play and everyone else auditioned as well and I didn’t get a good part and I felt really discouraged. This was coupled with the fact that the other play place I was performing at said my singing wasn’t ready yet and I had a lot to work on, which I never got around to even though I wanted singing lessons. Anyway, enough with my regrets - this song means a lot because it talks about how we are worth so much more than money and that we are what life’s about, not money or property or prestige, life’s about people. I hope that I take that with me into whatever stage of life I’m in and that I always remember that message. - Alex Risdall :)
