Hey guys,
Today I wanted to talk about my stance on gun control. I feel like getting a license should be harder, but I don't believe that we should restrict them anymore than they are. I think that we should focus more on mental health and looking at the reason why someone might feel like they need a gun instead of trying to restrict people having guns because at the end of the day, a gun is just a tool. A gun is something someone uses to kill another and it's faster than other weapons, but if someone wants someone else dead, then it doesn't really particularly matter what weapon they have access to. Like it obviously does, but it doesn't and I feel like we should focus on the mental health of individuals for so many different reasons, but this is probably the biggest one because I am so tired of turning on the news and seeing stuff like Uvalde and school shootings happen and grocery stores and just all of these different places getting shot up. We need a mental health check because we are in a mental health crisis and that is where our resources should be focused.
