Hey guys,
So the Supreme Court has chosen to overrule Roe v. Wade which constitutionally protected a woman’s right to have an abortion for the nation on the basis that it wasn’t constitutionally founded. The Supreme Court doesn’t make laws - they just interpret the constitution, so if we want to have abortion as a national law is for congress to make a law and have it be passed on the congress floor. I will say this: I am pro-life but I think that we need to have abortion as an option and make a better world for the existing inhabitants before we talk about the unborn ones. I also think that everyone should be able to have the option to match their beliefs because isn’t that what America’s about? Having the freedom to choose? You can make the argument that the baby doesn’t get that choice but would you really want to have a kid that’s abused or ignored by parents that didn’t want him. Adoption is an option but like, let’s make a country, a world that’s worth being in and have people not want abortions because they want their child to see the world. That’s where I’m at with this topic, I think that God will have a plan for anyone that comes into the world and that we still have a long way to go before we find a correct answer to this debate.
